Puppy Head Start

This is for dogs that are between 8 weeks old to 6 months old, this consist of house training,  teach here, name and teach to swim (weather permitting). Introduced to birds, retrieving, water, hunting environment, trips in the vehicle., socializing with other dogs and people, Start on fun puppy  marks (very short, very simple). At 5 month old start to do basic obedience on lead, continue simple marking. Space is very limited, we only accept one puppy at a time.

 

Cool Creek Young Dog Program For Retrievers

Dogs that enter this program are around five to six month of age. This program is to teach the training skills he/she will need to advance to higher level of training. This is about a six to eight month program. Since every dog learns at a different speed the 6 to 8 month is just a ballpark time frame.

 

Obedience Training

This is open to all breeds. Will teach site/stay, heel, come, down

 

AKC Hunt Test Training

Training to compete in all levels. Junior, Senior and Master.

If you would like us to handle your dog  at AKC Event.

We  only charge a $40.00 handling fee.

Traveling  expenses are divided up between total dog on truck.

Pre—Season Tune Up

This is for dogs that have already been trained and need a tune-up prior to hunting or competing.

We must evaluate your dog to give you a time frame.

For example: bad line manners, creeping/breaking, sloppy /loopy sits, casting problems, bad lines on blinds or/and marks, hard mouth, freezing on birds.

All training time frames that we give are just a ballpark time.

Each dog will learn at its own pace and can not be rushed if you are looking for a well behaved started dog or a finished well trained dog you must be patient and go at the dogs own pace.
