Brian Good & Donna Roach

 

Well after knowing both Brian and Donna for at least 10 years or so you can see the love and dedication that they put into the dogs that they have.

When I met Brian and Donna they had the most wonderful female named “Chloe” Trumarc Lean Mac Texas Rose you could see the hard work and dedication that Brian and Donna had put into her.

All the dogs that I have seen that Brian and Donna have trained :  Chloe, Storm and Ben all are fabulous dogs, all can mark, run hard on marks and blinds and look like they are so in love with Donna and Brian.  Brian and Donna have been long time members of Keystone Retriever club and help at all the functions that the club has. Brian and Donna both know the blood sweat and tears that goes into training a dog and they have the dedication to do it.  I know that Brian and Donna provide the best environment for the dogs that they have, and you can expect nothing but the best coming from Cool Creek Retrievers.

I can not say enough about Brian . I am amassed at how Star has turned out. I spoke with Brian numerous times on the phone about Star.  Finley I decide to take the 5 hr. drive to have Star trained at Cool Creek Retrievers. I  have to say I was very skeptic that this dog would ever be a hunting dog.  She was just out of control, the worst part was she could not even pick up a bird I shot.  When I went to pick her up I got back a totally different dog . We hunted almost every day for duck this year and she retrieved over 60 birds for me and  She is such a pleaser to  be with in the duck blind.

I have known Brian Good for at least 10 yrs  thru Keystone training club . Brian and I have trained retrievers together  and I can say he gets the most out of any dog he has trained . He is able to read his dogs to understand what they need in the way of correction or praise  whether it be in the field or with the obedience .

Brian with Cool Creek Retrievers did a great job helping me teach my young dog Libby obedience basics from heel and site to down and showing me how to tech her to stay in one spot until I want her to “come here”. He recommended a perfect yet simple to use leash to teach the heel, with all simple easy instructions. As Brian says, your dog must see you as the pack leader.  Brian helped us with an introduction into retrieving with a few simple steps, right now Libby is more or less a house dog. With basic obedience, however if we decide to hunt we will take the next step with Brian at Cool Creek Retrievers in retriever training.
